Notes: Just as Hommage au poète Roger Allard (AM-16-005) this particular work is of utmost importance in the history of modern art. According to art historian Peter Brooke, this is one of the earliest compositional examples of what Albert Gleizes would soon call ‘translation’ and ‘rotation’.
